• Coarse page groups and coarse referrer class: search, internal, external, or unknown.
• Rules-search query-length and result-count buckets—never search terms.
• Quick Start start, named checkpoint, completion, and active-duration bucket.
• First-value activation for Adventure Loom and Dungeon Generator—never project content.
• Core Web Vitals, navigation duration, and normalised browser-fault fingerprints.

Never collected

Content and identity stay out

• No search text, character choices, dice rolls, story state, card text, graph data, room content, filenames, or imports.
• No Field Notes prose, contact details, tracking references, consent evidence, or moderation notes.
• No stored IP address, user-agent string, full URL, query string, or raw referrer.
• No cookie, analytics account, cross-session identifier, or linkage between measurement and Field Notes.

Retention & access

Short raw life, private reporting

Outcome events, workflow joins, and Web Vitals are removed within seven days. Normalised fault fingerprints are removed within 30 days. Content-free daily totals and histograms are retained for 13 months. Reporting is owner-only, and fewer than 100 observations are labelled insufficient data.

Workflow IDs

One task, then gone

Rules search uses one random ID in session storage so a submitted search can be joined to an opened result. Quick Start uses a random in-memory run ID. Neither is a visitor ID; neither is reused or joined to another journey.
