Bohdi details
Bloodline Traits
- Vitals Adjusted: Gain +1 to any Vital of your choice.
- Popular Classes: Any.

Adapt on the Fly
Once per Rest, after a Bohdi fails a Skill Check, they may add +1 dot to the final result and recalculate the outcome. This may turn the failure into a success or improve its Degree of Failure.
Adaptable Skills
When a Story Milestone is resolved, a Bohdi may reduce one trained Skill by 1 level and increase a different Skill by 1 level. The receiving Skill cannot exceed its Linked Vital or be higher than the source Skill was before the transfer.
Physical Characteristics
- Height: Males commonly stand 155–190 cm; females commonly stand 145–180 cm.

- Eye Colour: Most commonly dark brown, brown, or grey; blue eyes also occur.
- Hair: Most commonly black or dark brown, often kept short, shaved, or tightly pulled back.
- Unique Traits: Skin tones vary widely. Shaved heads, simple robes, prayer cords, and painted or tattooed marks of meditation are common among the devoted, but none is an innate physical feature.
History and Current Status
- After the Sundering, Bohdi became a refuge for those fleeing chaos. Monks and scholars built sanctuaries amid the mist, preserving peace despite temporal distortions.
- Buddha’s enlightenment occasionally brings tranquillity but also confusion as mortals grapple with fractured reality.
- Today, the Bohdi serve as spiritual guides and guardians of ancient wisdom, mediating conflict and preserving knowledge.
- They research the fragment’s temporal distortions in the hope of stabilising or understanding Shatterholme’s fractured reality.
Personality Traits
- Calm and Introspective: Bohdi seek detachment from worldly chaos and strive for inner harmony.
- Patient and Wise: They are known for patience but act swiftly when balance is threatened.
- Enigmatic and Philosophical: They often speak in riddles or parables shaped by their understanding of time and reality.
Cultural Traits
- Values: Enlightenment, inner peace, detachment, temporal knowledge, meditation, and spiritual clarity.
- Social Dynamics: Monastic orders and isolated scholarly communities lead society; authority rests on spiritual insight and the ability to navigate distorted time.
- Traditions: Meditation, philosophical teaching, silent retreats, and contemplative practices seek balance within temporal distortions.
- Religion and Beliefs: The Enlightened Path draws on Buddha’s teachings. Through meditation and balance, Bohdi seek to transcend time’s distortions and harmonise with fractured reality. Tales of monks lost in time loops warn those who pursue knowledge carelessly.
Relationships With Neighbours
- Kalparians: Cooperative seekers of balance who exchange knowledge and work together to restore harmony.
- Etsai: Reserved coexistence; Bohdi respect Etsai dedication but reject its extreme interventionism.
- Haomans: Pragmatic allies joined by respect for order, stability, and balance.
